My photography is centred on the landscape around Barmouth, the Mawddach Estuary and the mountains of southern Eryri/Snowdonia, a place where changing weather, shifting light and the ebb and flow of the tide continually reshape the landscape.

Most of my work comes from repeated observation, patience and careful planning, returning to familiar locations in different seasons and conditions. Sometimes this means spending hours waiting for the right combination of light, weather and tide to transform the familiar into something extraordinary - a moment that cannot be predicted and may never arrive.
